This workbook is great! It is the size of a normal school notebook. It has adorable pictures that coordinate with their letter including unicorns, ninjas, and princesses! The letters are large enough for both my daughters to practice their penmanship but also trace the letter correctly. I also love that there are three full pages for each letter and a page that allows then to write the letter by themselves! The only problem I have with this workbook is that all the images are colored in gray-scale... I would prefer the images to be in color book format to keep the interest of my toddler. Other than the images (we can color over them with markers), this book is a total win for a mom trying to homeschool and start pre-K.
He actually likes to color in the letters instead of just using them to learn how to trace the letters, which is fine because he spends more time on each letter and now knows them all. It's probably because of his age, but he really resisted writing the letters as they were demonstrated. However, when he writes letters on his own they definitely look right so I'm fine with this. It'll probably drive his kindergarten teacher nuts though.
We bought this for my daughter, who struggles with forming some of her letters consistently. So far she's enjoying it, and we can see improvement. On top of that, you can't beat the price. Would definitely buy again!

I am an educator and it is encouraging to see a child-friendly letter tracing workbook that helps pre-schoolers learn how to recognize and trace each letter of the alphabet . I like how the author placed the upper case letters and lower case letters on the same page. That makes it so much easier for students to match lower case and upper case letters. There is plenty of space for writing the letters. The large size of the lettering is a helpful format for tracing the letters. Each letter has a dot that lets the students know where to begin tracing. Some letters have arrows and numbers that help to guide the student 'how' to write the letter.The workbook can be used for more than tracing letters. It has cartoon pictures that begin with the letters that are easily recognizable. For example, “A†for Airplane. During “teachable momentsâ€, parents and teachers can use the cartoon pictures to help students learn the sounds of the letters. Even the colorful illustrations on the back cover of the workbook can also be used to help students review the alphabet and learn the letters by sight.I have added pictures to give you a sense of how easy this letter-tracing workbook can be used to make letter tracing fun and engaging for pre-schoolers. I definitely recommend the workbook because it is a great tool to help beginner writers. It can be used by parents and teachers to support and supplement classroom instruction….. THUMBS UP!
